What is it?
The ALICSE 3 day programme is an extended development opportunity for leaders looking to develop within an integrated or more multi-agency environment. The programme includes 3 one-day events held in Nottingham over a period of a few months and a range of other ‘blended learning’ opportunities such as work-based projects, placements, self and 360 evaluations, online learning and group seminars. The events have high quality keynote inputs from the region’s Directors of Children’s Services and a range of other notable speakers. The programme is co-delivered with five of the East Midlands’ universities to enable participants to receive accreditation.
Who is it for?
In 2011/12 there will be two cohorts of around 30 people, recruited from across all sectors of the children’s workforce and across the region. Participants will already have received leadership training in some form, usually from their sector-specific background, and are now keen to extend their leadership to work effectively within the more integrated environment that now exists.
How to get involved?
Places are limited and recruitment is co-ordinated in each of the nine local authority areas by the Directors of Children’s Services through their children’s trust partnerships. Either contact your DCS directly or enquire through the link on this page.
